book[ed] &

screened

Location
Palm Springs, CA
Duration
3 nights, 4 days

If you're the type who can't help pointing out the differences between the book and the adaptation, this one's for you.

This retreat has already written its chapter, but the story doesn’t end here. Discover what’s coming next, or reach out to plan a custom retreat just for you.

*Before booking, please read our Booking Terms.

You read the book. You watched the show. You had opinions. Maybe you shouted them at your TV. Maybe you quietly muttered, “the book was better.” Either way, you’re one of us.

This weekend is for the biblio-cinephiles,  the ones who live for the details, the dialogue, the deviations. The ones who dissect the casting choices and scream internally when the ending gets rewritten for “streaming audiences.”

Spend a weekend with fellow obsessives who understand the sacred art of both page and picture. We're diving into stories that made it from the shelf to the screen — some brilliantly, others... not so much. Think: Mr. & Mrs. American Pie, Big Little Lies, Normal People, Where the Crawdads Sing.

The Plot

What to expect when you're book[ed].

No assigned reading.
No scheduled discussions.
No group pressure.
Just beautiful places, good books, and a community that gets it.

You bring the story. We’ll handle the rest. A weekend with just the right amount of structure—and absolutely no pressure. Here’s how it might go down, give or take a nap and a few extra chapters.

Can't get in until Friday?  No problem, get in touch for pro-rated pricing.
