In Vermont, where small-town intrigue and true crime legends thrive, this is the perfect place to chase clues, follow leads, and feel every twist, turn, and pulse-pounding reveal.

A long weekend for mystery, thriller and true crime readers. Four days in Burlington with plenty of time to read, great food, fall in Vermont and a few bookish experiences along the way.
Thursday
4:00pm | Arrival & Check-In
Arrive, check in, settle in and get comfortable.
5:00–7:00pm | Welcome Dinner
Our first dinner together, served in stations so you can arrive, eat and settle into the weekend at your own pace.
7:00–9:30pm | Case File Night
We’re opening the case. Settle in for a hands-on, bookish evening inspired by evidence boards, case files and the mysteries we can’t stop thinking about. Make something, have some great food and meet the book[ed]. society.
Friday
Morning | Read at Your Own Pace
Breakfast is available from 8:00–11:00am. Sleep in, grab a book, find a fireplace. Your morning is yours.
Late Morning & Lunch | True Crime Tour with Queen City Ghostwalk
An exclusive walk through Burlington’s darker history, exploring true crime stories from the late 1800s to the present day, followed by lunch at The Farmhouse Tap & Grill.
5:00–7:00pm | Dinner on property
A relaxed grazing dinner will be waiting when you’re ready.
Evening | Yours
Read. Start a puzzle. Find the fire pit. Play a game. Go to bed at 9:00. We support all of the above.
Saturday
Morning | Read at Your Own Pace
Breakfast is available from 8:00–11:00am, with plenty of time to read before heading out for the day.
Lunch Out
We’re taking lunch off-property at one of our Burlington picks. Great food, good company and lunch at your leisure.
Investigate Burlington
Grab your curated book[ed]. Field Guide and discover something new. Independent bookstores, local shops and plenty of time to wander. Follow our recommendations or make your own discoveries.
Evening | Dinner & One Last Mystery
We have something special planned for our final night together. Dinner, drinks and an interactive experience that will put your powers of deduction to work.
We’ll leave the rest unsolved for now.
